A profound and revealing journey.

What is huachuma?
Grandfather Huachuma: Ancestral Medicine of the Andes
Botanical Identity and Origin
Huachuma, also known as San Pedro, is a columnar cactus. Its scientific name is Echinopsis pachanoi, formerly classified as Trichocereus pachanoi.
It is an endemic species of the Andes Mountains, which has grown wild for millennia in Peruvian regions. It has been central to the Andean worldview for over 3,000 years, as evidenced by the archaeological remains of the Chavín de Huántar culture.
What is ayahuasca?
Ayahuasca: Science of the Spirit and Ancestral Medicine
Botanical and Biocultural Definition
Ayahuasca is an ancient liquid medicine originating in the Amazon basin, the result of the chemical synergy of two sacred plants: the Banisteriopsis caapi vine, which contains harmine alkaloids, and the leaves of the Psychotria viridis shrub, known as Chacruna.
Unlike modern synthetic substances, Ayahuasca is considered an entheogen (meaning it awakens the inner divinity). It is a biocultural tool protected by the indigenous peoples of the Amazon, who have safeguarded it as a sacrament for the healing of body, mind, and soul.
What is bobinsana?
Bobinsana: The Medicine of the Heart and Water
Bobinsana (Calliandra angustifolia) is a shrub that grows in the Amazon. Its roots are submerged, giving it a unique resilience that allows it to remain upright against strong currents. Botanically, it is distinguished by its delicate, bright pink flowers, which resemble radiant feathers.
In the tradition of traditional healers, Bobinsana is not classified as a purely visionary plant (like Ayahuasca), but rather as a "Diet Plant." It is a teacher of gentleness, flexibility, emotional resilience, and healing.
Tobacco is not merely a habit; it is a primordial Master Plant that has accompanied shamans for millennia as a bridge between dimensions. Ritual tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum), such as Sairi in the Andes or Mapacho in the Amazon, is pure, organic, and possesses a high spiritual vibration.
In rituals, tobacco acts as an energy organizer. Its primary function is to cleanse, protect, and focus. It is said that tobacco smoke carries our intentions to the universe, serving as a vehicle for communication with the divine.

What is Chacruna? and many more master plants
Chacruna (Psychotria viridis): The Light of Understanding
Chacruna is the messenger of vision. While other plants work on the body and emotions, Chacruna ignites the light in the theater of the mind.
Its Gift: It bestows a clear and colorful "vision." Without it, the journey would be dark; it is what allows the spirit to "see" its own blockages and the beauty of the cosmos.
In the Ceremony: It is the feminine complement that unites with the Ayahuasca vine to reveal the mysteries of the soul through sacred geometries and visual teachings.
May the whisper of the master plants continue to resonate in your silence, and may every step you take on Earth be an offering of light and gratitude. Thank you for walking this path with us. Ayni in every heartbeat.
As we close this space, we honor the wisdom that has been bestowed upon us. May the medicine of the heart accompany you until our next meeting in the sacred circle.
